Real Shots of Social: A Reflection Of JiveWorld13

When you are as serious about enterprise social business as we are at Social Edge, JiveWorld is the place to learn about the latest trends, successful use cases, and to connect with thousands of customers, partners and Jivers themselves. 

This year, Social Edge Consulting was a Gold Sponsor at Jive World13, and we had almost our entire team (twenty of us!) in attendance at the conference. For a fully virtual organization like ours, it was thrilling to be in the same room together! And together we were ? traveling from both US coasts, Canada, Spain, Puerto Rico, and beyond. It was also a great opportunity for us to celebrate a very special life event of our colleague, Kerry Craig, who tied the knot at The Little White Chapel!

Of course we were also there to get some serious business done! JiveWorld13 marked the launch of our new products: EdgePack and Mosaic. These new custom widgets are a dream come true for community managers. They are easy-to-use and provide a central place to showcase important news quickly and efficiently in a visually appealing and engaging way.

JiveWorld is a great opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and clients on a professional level. We got to share triumphs and successes, as well as offer solutions to issues faced on challenging projects ? knowledge sharing and collaboration at its finest! Along with information about our services in strategy, community management, design, and technical integration, we passed out our special Social Edge "shots of social", to those who visited our booth:

JiveWorld13 clearly showed it is time for companies to "Get Real" about social business and fall in love with Jive. It was an absolute treat to be in the same room with TED Talks veteran Dr. Eddie Obeng and listen live to his energizing story about nurturing innovation, the future of virtual organizations, and how technologies like social platforms have key roles in that future. It further inspired us to help our clients better understand and embrace the exciting changes that Jive brings to an organization.

The Jive platform and interface is maturing tremendously. Jive announced some very exciting enhancements that will allow for easier implementations of business use cases and value measurement. I?m most looking forward to the Gmail and social integrations, real-time chat, and being able to run the business seamlessly from any type of device with a totally redesigned and feature-rich mobile experience.

Without a doubt, JiveWorld is the event to get a real shot of social business and my bags are already packed for 2014!
