A Case Study by Social Edge Consulting
Social Edge worked closely with Jive Software to support their efforts to redesign the homepage of the Jive Community. Customizing within their hosted Jive-x community, Social Edge built mobile responsive tiles, designed a homepage that would surface content in a unique way. The Social Edge design team incorporated Jive's branding to create a visually exciting and user friendly home page that encouraged community members to participate and engage with other organizations like theirs.
Jive was looking to encourage more interaction between all of their customers, as well as their small and midsize business (SMB) community managers, as they grow their Jive communities. Social Edge created a home page design for their customer community home page and designed the home page and content for their SMB Labs space. Social Edge performed an analysis to determine the customer journeys of the different personas of Jive clients, as well as the content that highly resonates with SMBs that implement Jive. Social Edge then designed and created content in a visually appealing format that has successfully engaged their target audience.
When Jive became an Aurea company in 2017, Social Edge worked with the Jive and Aurea teams to redesign the community to reflect the new branding. Social Edge has also developed several custom tiles and widgets for various places in the community, including a very unique homepage experience.
